Government Open Source Conference (GOSCON) 2008, and International Open ICT Summit. Transforming the delivery of government services.

GOSCON 2008 and the International Open ICT Summit provide an educational forum for government IT executives to understand both the business case and real-world applications for open source methods and tools to transform the delivery of government services. Attendees will have an opportunity to hear lessons learned in the development and integration of open source solutions into production environments, and to establish communities for collaboration around common interests.

The Government Open Source Conference (GOSCON) 2008 and the International Open ICT Summit provide forums to explore both the business case and real-world applications for open technology to deliver the next generation of government services. Attendees will hear from industry experts and their peers’ lessons learned in the development and integration of open source solutions. Extensive networking ops for CIO & IT directors, management, planning, legal staff.

Cost:
International Open ICT Summit: $125 US early registration for attendees employed by the Government or public sector, $225 US for private sector attendees
GOSCON 2-day conference: $225 US early registration for attendees employed by the Government or public sector, $325 US for private sector attendees
Tour: $125 for all participants
