- IDABC (Interoperable Delivery of European eGovernment Services to public Administrations, Businesses and Citizens) is organising a series of workshops on topics that are likely to become important on a pan-European platform such as OSOR (European Open Source Repository and Observatory). FLOSS in the area of Geographic Informations Systems is one of these topics. Organizers hope they will launch a new GIS community on the OSOR, inviting main European actors as PloneGov to present projects and solutions, to express their needs, and to exchange best practices.
