PloneMeeting 1.4 includes a refined document generation system: (1) Several POD templates may be defined for a given item or meeting content type (activation of those POD templates depend on permissions and conditions); (2) The user may "freeze" any POD template when any item or meeting transition is fired. UI improvements include the ability to walk from one item view to the item view of the previous or next item in the meeting. New algorithms for inserting items into meetings are included. New optional fields for items and meetings were defined (observations on items and meetings, meeting number, effective start and end date for a meeting, meeting place...)

PloneMeeting 1.3

PloneMeeting may now be integrated with last PloneTask release for managing the tasks that need to be performed as mentioned in decisions managed by PloneMeeting. Moreover, a new "color system" allows every user to see in a distinct color what items and annexes she did not already consult. This release also comes with a lot of minor UI enhancements and bugfixes and a lot of performance improvements while rendering the meeting view. The security model has evolved (local roles moved from folders to the items themselves that became folderish and contain their annexes); consequently, users may now belong to several meeting groups.

An archiving system has been implemented, with WebDAV export of all PloneMeeting data (annexes as files and item/meeting metadata as XML). Workflows have been extended to support this archiving process and a two-step publication of the meeting agenda. New searchable fields for associating tags and keywords to items have been added. Meeting configurations can new be created and edited through-the-web without limitation. A generic system for adding recurring items after given transitions are fired on meetings has been implemented.
