Project Description

Project resources

This will give a local authority a way to make some documents orderable through the web by their citizens.  It will also give a way for the citizen to send a request to a service and be able to follow the evolution of it (workflow).

The product TeleServices enables citizens to make online demands to the local authorities and allows the officials to manage the requests.

The general principle is the following.

  • At first, citizens can access a list of documents and procedures available in the various departments of the municipal administration. This list specifies for each demand the necessary conditions.
  • To do an online demand, the citizen must first register to complete their personal data (including the national registration number which will serve as a unique key to connect via electronic identity card). This registration should be done only once.
  • Once enrolled, people can connect either through an ID / password or through its electronic identity card.
  • After logging on, the citizen can make further requests to various departments of the town but also view the requests already made. During his treatment, the demand state evolves following the steps of treatment carried out.
  • The municipal officer responsible for its department consults the new requests that require ongoing treatment.
  • The officer during the demand processing changes its status following the actions it performs : for example, that the demand is being processed, finalized, rejected, ...
  • Depending on the options selected by the citizen, a mail can be sent at each state change.

The value of the tool is that it is possible to configure it through a fully graphical interface. It is therefore possible to define its own demands with their own settings as the reasons associated, modes of reception, price, etc ...

Some dependencies :

The product CPDescriptive (additional user descriptive) is required.

The product BelgianEidAuthPlugin (access with the electronic identity card) is optional and can be used to check the identity for some documents and processes.
